Ombudsman's Office to investigate ASEP for possible violation of consumer rights

The Ombudsman's Office reported this afternoon on the opening of an ex-officio complaint to the National Authority of Public Services (ASEP), after this entity issued Resolution No. 16592 of January 21, 2021 , which allows the companies ENSA and Naturgy (Edemet and Edechi), suspend the electric power service from February 1 to customers with accumulated delinquency.

Sounds fair to me. Don't pay your bill and the power gets cut off. What is wrong with that?. The consumer has no rights if they are not paying the bill.
