Desde el jueves 19 hasta el domingo 22 de noviembre a las 5:00 a.m., se desarrollarán trabajos correspondientes al desencofrado de los pórticos

Work on Line 2 of the Metro at the exit of the Corredor Sur will restart on Thursday

From this Thursday, November 19 to November 22, the works of the Branch of Line 2 of the Panama Metro will continue on the exit of the South Corridor (Corredor Sur) towards the Domingo Díaz road, from 5:00 am onwards.
According to Metro de Panamá, SA, the works that will be carried out in this phase correspond to the stripping of the porticos (support structure for the “U” beams, used in transitions on tracks).

The Traffic Management Plan approved by the Land Transit and Transportation Authority (ATTT) for these works establishes the following changes:

- Closing of the exit of the South Corridor towards the Domingo Díaz road from 10:00 pm to 5:00 am and;
- Users who come from the South Corridor should exit a few meters before, at the access to Boulevard Aeropuerto.

The company asks drivers to follow the traffic signs and security measures established in the area for their safety.

The Line 2 Branch Project comprises 2 kilometers from the bifurcation of the Corredor Sur Station of Line 2 to the Tocumen International Airport , it will also have two stations: one at the Specialized Higher Technical Institute (ITSE) and another at the Airport Tocumen.
