Panama has added a total of 1,176 new cases of COVID-19 for this Friday, bringing the total number of infections to 57,993, according to the Ministry of Health.
While with 34 new deaths, plus 7 other deaths from previous days whose laboratory verifications showed that they suffered from
COVID-19, the number of deaths from this virus in the country is 1,250, which represents a 2.1% fatality rate.
There are a total of 32,704 clinically recovered patients.
According to the epidemiological report, 21,296 of the active patients are in home isolation (674 are confined in hotels), while another 1,398 are hospitalized (1,243 in the ward and 155 in intensive care).
According to the age group, patients with ages between 20 to 59 years continue to be the most affected in terms of infection, however, most deaths correspond to those over 60 years of age.

COVID-19 positive, their relatives and contacts in order to be make sure they have what they need, such as food, medications and other basic needs, so that they do not have the need to leave their homes.
