Vice Minister of Health: Opening beaches in Panama is being evaluated
The Vice Minister of Health, Ivette Berrío informed that a multidisciplinary team is evaluating the date for the opening of beaches in Panama.
We understand that these are activities that most are really waiting for, but we want to be sure of the precise moment in which we can give the opportunity to all citizens to attend the beaches, and that this is a safe activity, said Berrío in the Face to Face program.
She said that the multidisciplinary team, made up of various State ministries, are working to have all the points well defined and to be able to give the news to the citizens when we already have the security that this will provide the beach activity safely.
The Vice Minister of Health explained that for the Ministry of Health it has been key to change from building blocks to activities, which is why she insists that citizens continue to comply with all biosafety measures, including in this new stage of October 12, where we open many other activities.
The Government authorized the reactivation and operation of hotels, motels, rural hostels, lodging places and complementary services. In addition, tourist activities, non-essential transport (recreational and tourism), creative and cultural industries, music, art and dance academies, libraries, swimming pools, cinemas, theaters, museums, galleries and tourist sites with structures closed to 50% of its capacity, among others since this coming Monday.
