The extension of the validity of all driving licenses with an expiration date in the months of January, February, March, April, May, June, July and August 2020, has been extended by the Transit and Land Transportation Authority of Panama (ATTT), until September 30, 2020.
This is established by Resolution No. OAL-231, published this Monday in the Official Gazette, by which the first resolution of Resolution OAL-76 of March 16, 2020 is modified.
The document states that in view of the increase in registered and confirmed cases in the country due to the
coronavirus disease (
COVID-19), it is necessary to maintain the sanitary measures to mitigate the disease, therefore the extension of the validity of all the driver's licenses with an expiration date in the mentioned months.
On the other hand, it indicates that the content of Resolution OAL-76 of March 16, 2020 is maintained in all its parts, as long as it has not been modified by this resolution.
