The Transit and Land Transportation Authority ( ATTT ) announced the extension of the provisional suspension for the application of penalties for expired license plates and contempt, as well as the extension of the validity of driver's licenses.
It was established that all driver's licenses with an expiration date in the months of May, June, July and August 2021, are granted an extension in their validity until August 31 of this year.
Likewise, the provisional suspension of the application of sanction for contempt continues, until August 31. With this measure, the ATTT seeks to avoid inconveniences that at this time may lead to the retention of the license or vehicle.
In addition, the ATTT extends, for another month, the provisional suspension of the application of the offense for driving with expired license plates.
This measure applies to vehicles with a license plate whose expiration date corresponds to the months of May, June and July 2021.
