Vaccination sweeps announced in several circuits next week

In these vaccination sweeps, the anticovid vaccine from the pharmaceutical company Pfizer is applied to people 16 years of age and older who reside in these circuits.
The President of the Republic of Panama , Laurentino Cortizo, announced this Friday anticovid vaccination sweeps in various circuits nationwide for next week. 448 thousand doses are expected to be applied.

Here are the circuits where the immunization days will take place:

2-1 in Coclé, second dose.
4-1 in David, second dose.
6-2 and 6-3 in Herrera, second dose.
9-2 and 9-4 in Veraguas, first dose.
8-2 and 8-3 in Panama, first dose.
8-7 in Panama, second dose.

In this sweeping vaccination, the COVID-19 vaccine from the pharmaceutical company Pfizer is applied to people 16 years of age and older. Those who are between 12 and 16 years old, must go to their parents or guardians, and certify that they are a chronic patient or that they have a disability. In case the disability is evident, it will not require documents.

This modality is implemented in Panama, due to the number of doses of Pfizer that have arrived in the country in recent days.

Most of those who come to apply the doses of anticovid vaccine are young people between 20 and 30 years old, who for months have been asking to lower the vaccination age, considering that they are the economically active population and that they must go out daily to support themselves. to their homes.
