Vaccination process in circuits will stop for 15 days to apply second dose to non-prioritized medical personnel

Dr. Yamileth López, deputy director of the Metropolitan Region reported that they will make a "stop for 15 days" in the vaccination process (by circuits) to apply the second dose of the vaccine against COVID-19, to non-prioritized medical personnel, disabled and bedridden people, who are awaiting phase 1 A and 1 B.

López called for calm, since there was a little bit of tension but, the non-prioritized medical personnel will be given their two doses during the 15 days.

Following the vaccination phases, Dr. López explained that after applying the second dose to non-prioritized medical personnel, Phase 2 Stage 2A (where those over 60 years old and people with disabilities are) will continue in the next few days in 8-10 circuit and then 8-7.

"We are already preparing the entire inter-institutional team and we are enabling the next vaccination centers that will be carried out in the 8-10 circuit that will start in 15 days," said the deputy director of the Metropolitan Region.

Circuit 8-10 has an adult population of 33,322 over 60 years to be vaccinated, and is made up of the townships of Pedregal, December 24, Las Mañanitas, Tocumen, Las Garzas, Pacora and San Martín.
