Starting next week, the health authorities will begin with the vaccination of people over 40 years of age in various townships of Panama City.
In Juan Díaz it will begin next Monday, July 12 at the Elena Ch. De Pinate School.
After Juan Díaz, this vaccination day with
Pfizer for people over 40 will be extended to Don Bosco (starting July 21), Parque Lefevre and Río Abajo, according to the head of Nursing at the Ministry of Health (
Minsa) , Eusebia de Copete.

To date, Panama has applied more than 1,650,000 doses of the
COVID-19
vaccine, of which more than 1.2 million have been from the pharmaceutical company
Pfizer and more than 422,000 from
AstraZeneca.
The health authorities reiterate to the people who will receive the
vaccine that they should have breakfast or lunch according to the schedule of their appointment, take their medications, hydrate themselves, wear loose clothing and keep biosecurity measures.
They also ask the population not to lower their guard and to continue to comply with biosafety measures such as hand washing, physical distancing, use of a mask and alcoholic gel, as well as a facial screen, despite being inoculated.
