Also, on Saturday, May 22, the application of second doses of vaccine against COVID-19 will begin in circuits 8-4 and 8-7.
Starting this Saturday, May 22, the vaccination against COVID-19 will begin in circuits 4-3, 4-4 and 9-1 of the province of Chiriquí, for people over 60 years of age, teachers and pregnant women.

On the same date, the application of second doses of vaccine against COVID- 19 will begin in circuits 8-4 and 8-7.

To date, Panama has applied more than 799 thousand doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, of which more than 780 thousand have been from the pharmaceutical company Pfizer and more than 18 thousand from AstraZeneca.

The health authorities reiterate to the people who will receive the vaccine that they should have breakfast or lunch according to the schedule of their appointment, take their medications, hydrate themselves, wear loose clothing and keep biosecurity measures.

They also ask the population not to lower their guard and continue to comply with biosafety measures such as hand washing, physical distancing, the use of a mask and alcoholic gel, as well as a facial screen, despite being inoculated.
