Una de las personas rescatadas presentaba una fractura en su pierna

Two people rescued on the Volcancito trail

The Meritorious Fire Department of Panama reported on the rescue of two people in the Volcancito sector, Chiriquí province.
The rescue occurred on Saturday afternoon and one of the people had a fracture in one of his legs.

The rescue work was carried out by personnel from Station 2 in Boquete, and the injured person was transferred to the polyclinic in this sector.

Since last December 5, the Ministry of Environment has announced that the suspension of entry, indefinitely, to all protected areas in the province of Chiriquí was maintained.
