The report of the Ministry of Health (Minsa) Thursday 7 May indicates the number of deaths is now 225 in the country, since the cases of the new coronavirus began.
The head of Epidemiology of the Minsa, Lourdes Moreno, said that the number of accumulated cases is 7,868, of which 137 are new cases.
2,804 people remain in home isolation, 937 of them are in hospital hotels.
Moreno also stated that there are 335 hospitalized patients, 250 in wards and 85 in intensive care units.
Regarding the tests carried out to date, he said that the total is 39,093, with 30,035 negative and 9,058 positive. In the last hours, 1,079 new tests were carried out.
The number of recovered clinically is 3,618 and those recovered by laboratory increase to 886.
For his part, Sucre said that managing to keep the rates of contagion of the coronavirus low is a commitment of everyone, that you have to wear face masks when leaving the house, wash your hands and maintain social distance.
