Total quarantine announced on Sundays in Pesé, La Chorrera and Penonomé

The Minister of Health indicated that this measure is being implemented due to the increase in positive cases of COVID-19 in the different regions.

The Minister of Health of Panama, Luis Francisco Sucre, announced on Tuesday the establishment of a total quarantine measure on Sundays starting this July 4 in several districts of the country.

He explained that this measure is implemented due to the increase in positive cases of COVID-19 in different regions.

Pesé

The Health Minister explained that in the Pesé district, Herrera province, a total quarantine is established on Sundays, without mobility or working hours.

The rest of the districts of this province will maintain a curfew from Monday to Saturday from 10:00 pm to 4:00 pm and the closing of shops at 9:00 pm

However, in the districts of Ocú and Los Pozos the curfew will be from 12:00 am to 4:00 am because they maintain a low rate of infections.

The Chorrera

A total quarantine will be applied on Sundays, without mobility or working hours in the district of La Chorrera, in the province of Panamá Oeste; While from Monday to Friday the curfew is maintained from 10:00 pm to 4:00 pm

On the other hand, in the districts of San Carlos, Capira, Chame and Arraiján the curfew is maintained from 10:00 pm to 4:00 pm

Penonome

In the province of Coclé, the total quarantine will also begin to apply on Sundays in the district of Penonomé.

The rest of the districts of the province maintain a curfew from 10:00 pm to 4:00 pm

Home service or delivery

On the other hand, the head of Health announced that the home delivery service or delivery nationwide will be extended until 11:00 pm
