Tocumen SA says Terminal 2 will be completed, Odebrecht files appeal
Tocumen SA said that it will exercise the legal resources allowed by law to achieve the completion of Terminal 2.
The construction company Norberto Odebrecht SA filed an appeal before the Administrative Court of Public Contracts, after Tocumen SA canceled the contract for the execution of the expansion of the air terminal for breach of the agreed obligations.
The Brazilian construction company was disqualified for breach of contract, which prevents its participation in tenders and contracting with the Panamanian State.

He reiterated that since February 2020 Terminal 2 has registered 99% progress, and at the end of October 1, 2021, the work is still incomplete according to the contractual obligations, with pending keys and necessary corrections for the operation, safety, and comfort of the passengers. .
