Tocumen Airport makes adjustments for the reopening
The general manager of the Tocumen International Airport, Raffoul Arab, announced on Wednesday that several adjustments are being carried out at the airport in order to prepare it for reopening when the health authorities allow it.
He explained that among these adjustments are biosafety aspects, following the guidelines given by the Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization (WHO) at the health level.
“For example, we have reduced the entrance to the Airport areas to only passengers, we are strictly demanding the use of masks once they enter the premises, also the use of alcohol gel that we have dispersed in all areas of the Airport available, for Of course we have thermographic cameras to take the temperature", said Arab.
He added that they have also made social distancing adjustments in the waiting lines, the placement of acrylics for the separation of people at check-in, as well as adjustments in the waiting rooms.
According to Arab, they are trying to optimize the space as the distance may limit how many people can be in certain areas. But in short, at the Airport they are doing everything necessary to provide security to our passengers.
