The airport plans to expand its connectivity starting in November with direct flights to 60 destinations in 31 countries - until March it linked 94 cities in 39 countries - from South America (26), Central America and the Caribbean (17), North America (13) and Europe (4).
The reopening of international commercial flights is carried out under strict biosafety protocols and it is expected to gradually strengthen the national economy, the tourism industry, the competitiveness and connectivity of Panama with the world, the statement added.
