This Friday, Executive Decree No. 880-A was published in the Official Gazette, which an extends fifteen more days the temporary suspension of activities related to the construction industry.
The document indicates that the extension to the earlier extension is applied in the same terms expressed in Article 1 of Executive Decree No. 506 of March 24, 2020, which ordered the temporary suspension of these activities as part of the measures adopted by the National Government to reduce the spread and contagion of
COVID-19.
It adds that the Ministry of Health (
Minsa) may, by resolution, order the reactivation of the operation, activity and mobility of companies that develop projects and provide services to any public institution, the temporary suspension of which is due to orders issued by the Executive Branch in its different decrees.
Likewise, the
Minsa may reactivate the operation, activity and mobility of companies that carry out private projects, the suspension of which has occurred due to the validity of the national State of Emergency.
