The Police detain former deputy Alfredo Pérez, for allegedly carrying weapons without permission

The Office of the Public Prosecutor for Primary Attention is investigating the former PRD deputy, Alfredo Fello Pérez, for the alleged commission of the crime of illegal possession of two firearms.
The incident occurred Tuesday night, September 8, near the Tataré sector, Pacora, in front of a gas station, when the black Toyota Hilux vehicle in which Pérez was traveling with another subject was detained by agents of the National Police for speeding.

According to the police report, the two men were made aware of Article 325 of the Criminal Procedure Code and they voluntarily accessed the search of the vehicle, during which two firearms without permission were found; one under the driver's seat and the other under the front passenger's seat.

The police informed Perez and the other subject of articles 22 and 25 of the National Constitution, explaining the reason for the arrest.
