While in circuits 2-2 and 2-4 in the province of Coclé; 4-3 and 4-5 in Chiriquí; 8-6 in San Miguelito; 8-1 in Arraiján and 9-1 in Veraguas the vaccine has been applied since the age of 16 and includes chronic and disabled patients from the age of 12 certified.

For this day of sweeping vaccination, 561,731 people are expected to be immunized, reported the President of the Republic, Laurentino Cortizo.

In vaccination centers in San Miguelito and Arraiján, long lines were registered very early, mostly people without an appointment.

Omar Montilla, Vice Minister of Internal Trade, explained that those who come by appointment have expedited passage and those who come without an appointment will still be vaccinated.

However, he called on citizens to register to speed up the immunization process and avoid overcrowding.

Yesterday, Panama received 456,300 doses of the Pfizer vaccine that will be used to reinforce the vaccination strategy against covid-19 that begins in these circuits.
