The Ministry of Education (Meduca) announced this Sunday that the first quarter of the 2021 school year will take place in form of distance classes.
Meduca explains that this decision was taken in conjunction with the Ministry of Health (
Minsa), after having held meetings with the authorities. The decision applies to both public and private schools.
It is worth mentioning previously, the Meduca had reported that the possibility that in the 2021 school year, the classes were blended, was evaluated, but rejected by teacher and leaders, given the risk of contagion of
COVID-19 that this could represent for the educators, students, and administrative staff.
