The National Civil Protection System ( Sinaproc ) issued a warning to prevent the passage of tropical wave # 10 in the eastern region of the country.
The Sinaproc indicated that according to the Etesa Hydrometeorology report, rains are expected over the national territory until Thursday, July 1.
Given the rainy season, Sinaproc recommends citizens avoid driving at high speeds, not trying to cross rivers, streams, or canals, avoid approaching power lines or poles, watch children, and shelter pets.
While in case of floods, the entity recommends having flashlights, whistle, cleaning supplies, bottled water, personal documents, first aid kit, dry food and a biosecurity kit.
