Sinaproc issues heavy rain warning until Thursday

The National Civil Protection System (Sinaproc) issued a surveillance notice for heavy rains in Colombia and Panama.

According to Sinaproc, significant rainy events are expected until Thursday, April 8, due to the low pressure in the area.

Sinaproc explained that these low pressure systems will be interacting with high pressure systems in the Atlantic.

The areas under surveillance notice are: Bocas del Toro, Comarca Ngäbe Buglé, Veraguas, Colón, Comarca Guna Yala, Darién, Comarca Guna Yala, Darién, Comarca Emberá Wounaan, Panama Oeste, Coclé, Herrera, Panama, Los Santos and Chiriquí.
