During the operations carried out last Monday night, in the district of La Chorrera, province of Panamá Oeste, at least 20 people were caught breaking the new curfew from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. and the dry law, due to the increase in COVID-19 cases.
These people were detained and transferred to a post authorized by the Municipality of La Chorrera, some businesses dedicated to the sale of liquor were also detected, not complying with the measures established by the Ministry of Health (
Minsa).
Boris Gutiérrez, compliance judge, reported that no parties or parking was detected, however there are commercial premises that outside of curfew hours continue to dispatch people.
He warned that they will continue with the operations on foot.
