In circuits 8-2 and 8-3 the application of the second dose will begin on May 24, while in 8-5 it will begin on May 27.
From next Monday, May 24 apply the second dose of vaccine against COVID-19 circuits 8-2 and 8-3.

These are the districts of Capira, Chame and San Carlos, respectively.

While in the District of La Chorrera, circuit 8-5, the second dose will be applied on May 27, 28 and 29.

To date, Panama has applied more than 788 thousand doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, of which more than 770 thousand have been from the pharmaceutical company Pfizer and more than 17 thousand from AstraZeneca.

The health authorities reiterate to the people who will receive the vaccine that they should have breakfast or lunch according to the schedule of their appointment, take their medications, hydrate themselves, wear loose clothing and keep biosecurity measures.

They also ask the population not to lower their guard and continue to comply with biosafety measures such as hand washing, physical distancing, the use of a mask and alcoholic gel, as well as a facial screen, despite being inoculated.
