San Felipe Neri Market will open its doors to the public this Monday
Starting this Monday, January 11, 2021, the new San Felipe Neri Market (Mercado San Felipe Neri) will open its doors to the public.
According to the Mayor's Office of Panama, the opening hours will be from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm.
After the remodeling work was completed, the market was inaugurated in mid-December 2020, then in the first days of January the tenants were relocated.
The remodeling of the facility includes, among other things, architectural, hygienic, storage and transportation improvements to optimize its operation, as well as additional adaptations that include a rail system for handling cold rooms for meats, meat cutting equipment, washing machine and plastic box sanitizer, height adjustment of loading and unloading dock, trays for refrigeration cabinets, waste management equipment, air curtains and foot baths.
