Safe mobility QR code will be introduced in the Panama-Costa Rica World Cup qualifying game

Safe mobility QR code will be introduced in the Panama-Costa Rica World Cup qualifying game

The pilot plan for the QR code will be implemented from the first week of September, Luis Oliva reiterated.

The administrator of the Authority for Government Innovation (AIG), Luis Oliva, reiterated this Monday that the pilot plan for the safe mobility QR code will be implemented from the first week of September.

He explained that in that sense, this QR code will be used to enter the Estadio Rommel Fernandez for the game of Panama against Costa Rica on September 2.

"We announce that in the first week of September we will make the first pilot of the QR of safe mobility, it will be punctually for the game in Panama that will take place at the Rommel Fernández Stadium, of which in the next few days we are going to be expanding," said Oliva.

He pointed out that people who are going to attend the game can now carry out their verification through the website www.panamadigital.gob.pa, where once they register or enter, they will be able to see a menu that says vaccination in the upper left corner, there you can find your QR code and other information.

"Inside there you will see all the vaccination data of your first dose, your second dose, the place where it was placed, the date, the batch and you will also see a QR barcode that is green if you are you vaccinated both doses here in the Republic of Panama and blue if you were vaccinated outside of Panama. It is important that if the code is yellow or they do not have any color, it is black, you will be able to press a button right there that we will be enabling for the people who will go to the game, in which they will be able to indicate that they have an inconsistency so that they can then be resolved with greater agility so that you can go to the game ... all the people who are going to be attending should already check this page of www.panamadigital.gob.pa”, He detailed.

He reiterated that the QR code will not be exchanging any type of information of the person, even the citizen at the time of entering must digitize a pin, with which it is guaranteed that this code is not being misused.

“At this moment the QR code simply displays the information, the person who is sharing it must enter a four-digit pin code that is requested when entering Panama Digital. On the day of the game there will already be an application that we made here at the AIG so that people can read this QR code at the time of entry and be much more agile so as not to delay the lines ”, he pointed out.
