People with a vaccination appointment scheduled for this day at the Rommel Fernández Stadium will be able to get vaccinated on Saturday, June 19 or Monday, June 21, reported the Minsa.
The rapid vaccination against
COVID-19 located in the Rommel Fernández Stadium will remain closed next Sunday, June 20, announced the Ministry of Health (
Minsa).
The closure of this vaccination center known as "Vacunatón 20-30" will be done for maintenance and fumigation of the area.
People who had a vaccination appointment scheduled for this day will be able to get vaccinated on Saturday 19 or Monday 21, according to their convenience.
Vaccination 20-30 is part of the strategy to combat
COVID-19 and streamline the immunization process, in order to mitigate deaths and serious hospitalizations due to
coronavirus.
In this self-rapid vaccination, hundreds of people are vaccinated daily with the
COVID-19
vaccine of the
AstraZeneca formula, which in Panama is voluntary for men and women over 30 years of age.
To date, Panama has immunized more than 1,320,000 people, of which 1,093,492 have been vaccinated with
Pfizer and 226,517 with the AstraZenca
vaccine.
