Pfizer Free Zone Panamá, S. de RL, and about $ 45,015,750.00 for the additional acquisition of 3,001,050 additional doses of
vaccines against SARS-COV2 for the year 2022 and continue with the vaccination process of the population.
Article number of the amendment clarifies that it must be endorsed by the Comptroller General of the Republic, in accordance with the prevailing norms and practices for this type of transaction.
And in article 3 it is added that the Executive Branch, through the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF), will include in the General State Budget of the corresponding fiscal period, the items necessary to cover the commitments acquired with the signing of the authorized Agreement. in this Cabinet Resolution.
To date, Panama has received 6.4 million doses of the anticovid
vaccine developed by the pharmaceutical company
Pfizer, out of the 7 million it has requested.
