The Ministry of Health (MINSA), informs that in the provinces of Panama and West Panama the use of beaches, rivers and public spas is restricted until March 15, 2021.
The national head of Epidemiology of the Ministry of Health (
MINSA), Leonardo Labrador explains that in terms of the Veraguas, Coclé and Los Santos provinces the use of the beach is also restricted during weekends.
These provinces will only be able to use the beaches, rivers, and spas on weekdays, without mobility between a province, and from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm as regulated by Resolution 1260 of October 20, 2020, which is still valid.
On the other hand, the
MINSA emphasizes that during the quarantine period the hotels will be able to use their social areas and open swimming pools.
As for the province of Herrera, upon detecting a significant increase in the number of positive cases, a total quarantine is established until next Monday, February 1 at 4:00 a.m. Article 14 of Executive Decree No. 62.
The head of epidemiology of the
MINSA emphasizes that the provinces, Chiriquí, Bocas del Toro, Colón, Darién, and the Comarcas will be able to make use of the recreational areas, respecting their curfew from Monday to Sunday and at the established time of 6:00 at 4:00 pm.
Labrador reiterates that parties, parking, liquor sales, crowds, among others, continue to be prohibited and that the sanitary fences are maintained.
