Rains and storms warning over Panama until June 24 due to
Sinaproc indicated that unstable weather conditions in Panama are typical of the rainy season. There are no hurricanes in the region surrounding the country.
A warning of prevention for significant rains and storms that will be registered over Panama until Thursday, June 24, 2021, was issued by the National Civil Protection System ( Sinaproc ).
According to the Directorate of Hydrometeorology of the Electric Transmission Company (Etesa), SA, these atmospheric conditions are due to the consecutive passage of tropical waves, which will be interacting with the low pressure systems of "our region".
Etesa reported that the highest accumulated rains (20 and 70 millimeters) could be registered in the coastal areas, while the highest amounts in the mountainous regions and mountain ranges.

The director of Sinaproc, Carlos A. Rumbo Pérez, reported that until 6:49 am this Monday, three houses have been affected in an area in front of the “Dr. Hugo Spadafora Franco”, from the Social Security Fund (CSS) in Colón.
