The National Civil Protection System (Sinaproc) of Panama warned of rains and storms for this Sunday, October 18, in various regions of the country due to the passage of tropical wave #42.
Carlos Rumbo, director of Sinaproc, urged citizens to stay in a safe place, given the unstable conditions that the passage of the tropical wave will generate.
Rumbo said that the entity's units are also monitoring vulnerable areas, since a warning to prevent maximum tides in the Pacific is also in force until October 22.
The Sinaproc recommended that the population avoid doing any outdoor activity and be open to the updates of the weather warnings and bulletins.
