The Second Criminal Liquidator Court of the First Judicial Circuit of Panama, rescheduled for the alternate date of Tuesday 17 to Friday 20 August 2021, the preliminary hearing of the case called “Autopista Arraiján-La Chorrera”.

This, after two (2) private technical defenders announced an appeal within the process followed by the alleged commission of the crime Against the Public Administration, to the detriment of the Ministry of Public Works (MOP).

The preliminary hearing was scheduled to begin on Tuesday, July 20 to Friday, July 23, 2021, according to the Second Criminal Court for Liquidation, led by Magister Lorena Hernández.

The investigation is related to alleged anomalies in the expansion and rehabilitation works of the Arraiján- La Chorrera highway, awarded to a construction company, during the Government of the 2009-2014 period.
