Police breaks down liquor sales and gambling in a residence in Chitré

Personnel from the Health region of the Herrera province, in coordination with the National Police, detected clandestine sale of liquor and gambling, as well as social gatherings in residences with crowds of people in the town of Monagrillo.
During a night operation that was concentrated in the Chitré district, the inspectors detected serious violations of the current decrees that have established guidelines to mitigate the COVID-19 pandemic, through which these activities are prohibited.

The gambling activity "was suspended, and the organizers and participants were summoned to define responsibilities," as stated in a statement from the Ministry of Health.
