Actualmente se sigue inmunizando a grupos de la etapa 1B de la Fase 1

Phase 2 vaccination against COVID-19 will begin on March 4

The President of the Republic of Panama, Laurentino Cortizo, announced that next Thursday, March 4, phase 2 of vaccination against COVID-19 will begin in the country.

Groups from Stage 1B of Phase 1, which includes the public force, are currently still being immunized.

Phase 2 includes: adults over 60 years of age, and the population aged 16 to 59 with chronic diseases, in stage 2A; and teachers and administrators of public and private schools and universities, as well as the staff of the Caipis, in stage 2B.

Currently, a digital form is enabled for the registration of those who wish to be vaccinated. In this same portal, the verify section will be enabled so that the person already registered knows the center or school they must go for the vaccination, as well as the date and time.

Early this Wednesday, Panama received 77,220 doses of the coronavirus vaccine from Pfizer and BioNTech.

To date, more than 64 thousand people have been immunized against the coronavirus in Panama.
