The Ministry of Health of Panama (Minsa) will begin the vaccination process with the doses of Pfizer for people over 40 years of age residing in the Juan Díaz district from next Monday, July 12.
The inoculation day will be carried out for citizens over 40 who have registered and have the date, time and place of vaccination assigned.
The vaccination centers that will be enabled from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm in the Juan Díaz district for vaccination with the doses of Pfizer for people over 40 years of age are the following:
Elena Chávez de Pinate School.
Republic of Guatemala School.
Carmen Solé B School.
José María Torrijos School.
Roberto Durán Gym.
"Next Monday, July 12, the vaccination of people over 40 years of age will continue, this time the nurses of the continuous vaccination strategy will move to the town of Juan Díaz where it is expected to place the first dose to more than 23 thousand people residing in that district, ”said the Ministry of Health.
Vaccination with Pfizer for those over 40 years of age in the Juan Díaz district will run until Friday, July 16.
It is reiterated that people must register on the website www.vacunas.panamasolidario.gob.pa; while in the portal https://vacunas.panamasolidario.gob.pa/verificate/ you can verify the date, time and place of application of the first dose with Pfizer.
It is worth mentioning that the Minsa began on July 5 the vaccination process with Pfizer for those over 40 years old in the 8-8 circuit, specifically in the San Francisco district.
In Panama, some 1,724,646 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been applied, according to the latest report from the Expanded Program on Immunization (PAI).
