Panama will receive AstraZeneca covid-19 vaccines in March, Mouynes announces

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Erika Mouynes, announced that Panama in the month of March will receive several doses of vaccines against covid-19 from AstraZeneca, and will culminate with the delivery of doses of vaccines from Pfizer.
As she explained, a total of 216,000 doses of AstraZeneca will arrive in March through the multilateral Covax mechanism.

Likewise, the contract with AstraZeneca, as a bilateral mechanism, will begin in March.

She added that the deliveries of the Pfizer doses will be fulfilled, starting next week, and in seven weeks 450,000 vaccines will be received.

Johnson & Johnson vaccine doses are still in negotiations.
