Panama's tourism loses $ 12 million a day due to the Covid-19 pandemic

Panamanian tourism registers daily losses that reach 12 million dollars, due to the closure ordered by the Government as a result of the new coronavirus pandemic.
The industry is declared ready to open its doors on October 12, when regular commercial flights will also resume at Tocumen International Airport .

Ernesto Orillac, president of the Panama Chamber of Tourism, indicated that the private sector, in conjunction with the International Promotion Fund, will project in a campaign how sanitary measures are being applied, in an attempt to generate confidence among travelers.
