The Minister of Health, Luis Francisco Sucre, sent a note this Wednesday, February 3 to Kirill Dmitriev , CEO of the Russian Fund for Direct Investment, to express Panama's interest in acquiring 3 million Sputnik V vaccine, to vaccinate 1.5 million people against Covid-19.
According to the note sent by Sucre
, Panama wanted these vaccines
to begin shipping to the country as of March 2021.
The information came out after the note sent to the Russian Fund for Direct Investment, based in the city of Moscow, was leaked on Thursday.
On February 2, it was known that the Russian Sputnik V vaccine
has an efficacy of 91.6% against Covid
-19 in its symptomatic manifestations.

In a part of the note, Sucre
