A total of 10,214 cases of COVID-19 remain active in Panama, and some 375,487 recovered people are reported.
The Ministry of Health of Panama (
Minsa) reports that for this Friday, June 18, 6 new deaths are reported due to the
coronavirus , and 1 death from a previous date is updated, with which the country accumulates a total of 6,465 deaths, and maintains a lethality of 1.6%.
In addition, 976 new infections of
COVID-19 are registered , bringing the accumulated number of cases in the country to 392,166.
The
Minsa adds that in the last 24 hours a total of 13,320 new tests have been carried out to detect
COVID-19, and the positivity rate is currently 7.3%.
In Panama, a total of 10,214 cases of
COVID-19 remain active, of which 9,257 remain in isolation at home and 413 are in hospital hotels.
On the other hand, some 468 patients are hospitalized in the ward and 76 are in intensive care units.
The epidemiological report reflects that to date some 375,487 people have been recovered from the
coronavirus.
