Panama reports 969 new COVID-19 cases and 1 death in 24 hours

To date, 12,298 tests have been applied, and a positive percentage of 7.8% remains, as reported by the Minsa.
In the last 24 hours, Panama registered a total of 969 new cases of COVID-19 , raising the number of infections to 391,190, as reported by the Ministry of Health ( Minsa ).

According to the epidemiological report for this Thursday, June 17, one (1) death has been recorded in the last 24 hours, bringing the number of deaths to 6,458 from coronavirus in the country. The lethality of the virus is 1.7%.

374,703 recovered patients are also reported.

To date, 12,298 tests have been applied, for a positive percentage of 7.8%.

Active patients total 10,029; 9,493 people are reported in home isolation, of which 9,070 are at home and 423 in hotels. There are 536 hospitalized and 457 of them are in the ward and 79 are in the ICU.
