Panama reports 964 new cases of COVID-19, 5,843 tests done in the last 24 hours

Panama registered 964 new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, bringing the total accumulated cases to 83,754, and with 18 new deaths, the total deaths linked to coronavirus rise to 1,827, reported the Ministry of Health (Minsa).
In the last 24 hours, 5,843 new tests were carried out to detect COVID-19 for a 16.5% positivity.

There are a total of 23,653 active cases and a total of 58,874 recovered patients.

Of the active patients, there are a total of 21,981 in isolation, of which 21,463 are at home and 518 in hotels, while 1,672 are hospitalized (1,515 in ward and 157 in intensive care).
