Panama reports 956 new COVID-19 cases and 8 deaths in 24 hours

In Panama, it is reported that approximately 427,755 people have recovered from the coronavirus, according to the epidemiological report.
The epidemiological report issued this Thursday by the Ministry of Health (Minsa) indicates that in the last 24 hours in Panama a total of 956 new cases of COVID-19 and 8 deaths have been registered.

With this, the total number of accumulated coronavirus infections in the country rises to 445,651 and the number of deaths to 6,932, maintaining a lethality of 1.6%.

For this Thursday in Panama it is reported that approximately 427,755 people have recovered from the coronavirus.

On the other hand, a total of 10,964 cases remain active, of which 411 patients remain hospitalized in the ward and 118 are in intensive care units.

The Minsa adds that 10,140 people remain in isolation in their homes and 295 are in hospital hotels.

In Panama in the last hours, 11,353 new tests have been carried out to detect cases of COVID-19 and there is a positivity of 8.4%.
