Panama reports 857 new COVID-19 cases and 8 deaths in 24 hours

To date, Panama has 13,281 active cases and 397,152 recovered patients, reported the Ministry of Health.
On 13 July 2021, The Ministry of Health ( Minsa ) of Panama notified 857 new cases of covid-19 in the last 24 hours, raising the total number of infections in the country to 417,087.

Meanwhile, 8 new deaths were reported due to this disease, for a total of 6,654 deaths. The fatality is at 1.6%.

9,916 tests to detect covid-19 were applied in the last hours. Positivity remains at 8.6%.

To date, Panama has 13,281 active cases and 397,152 recovered patients.

Of the total number of infected patients, there are 12,561 isolates, 12,201 of them at home and 360 in hospital hotels.

While 720 patients are hospitalized, of which 613 are in the ward and 107 in intensive care units.
