In the last 24 hours, Panama registered a total of 852 new cases of
COVID-19 , raising the number of infections to 447,261, as reported by the Ministry of Health (
Minsa).
According to the epidemiological report, for this Saturday, August 14, 2021, 6 deaths have been recorded in the last 24 hours and 2 deaths from previous dates have been updated, bringing the number of deaths to 6,947 from
coronavirus in the country. The lethality of the virus is 1.6%.

To date there are 10,654 active cases.
Of the total number of infected patients, 10,185 are in home isolation, of them 9,876 at home and 309 in hospital hotels.
While the hospitalized number 469 and of them 352 are in ward and 117 in ICU.
