Panama reports 818 new COVID-19 cases and 13 deaths in 24 hours

For this Thursday in Panama it is reported that approximately 421,263 people have recovered from the coronavirus.
The epidemiological report issued this Thursday by the Ministry of Health (Minsa) indicates that in the last 24 hours in Panama a total of 818 new cases of COVID-19 and 13 deaths have been registered, in addition, 2 deaths from previous dates are updated.

With this, the total number of accumulated coronavirus infections in the country rises to 439,599 and the death toll to 6,875, maintaining a lethality of 1.6%.

The Minsa adds that 466 patients remain hospitalized in the ward and 96 are in intensive care units.

On the other hand, 11,461 cases remain active, of which 10,589 remain in isolation at home and 310 are in hospital hotels.

He adds that in the last hours, 10,169 new tests have been carried out to detect cases of COVID-19 and the positivity rate is 8%.
