Panama reports 752 new COVID-19 cases and 14 deaths in 24 hours

The epidemiological report 12 July 2021 indicates that approximately 395,949 people have recovered from COVID-19 in Panama.
In the last 24 hours in Panama, a total of 752 new infections of COVID-19 have been detected, with which the number of accumulated cases has increased to 416,232.

For this Monday, July 12, the number of deaths due to the new coronavirus in the country rose to 6,646 after 14 new deaths will be counted and a 1.6% fatality rate remains.

The Ministry of Health (Minsa) reported that 13,637 cases remain active, of which 12,547 are in isolation at home and 362 remain in hospital hotels.

In addition, a total of 619 patients remain hospitalized in the ward and 109 are in intensive care units.

The epidemiological report indicates that approximately 395,949 people have recovered.

In the last hours, 7,445 new tests have been carried out to detect COVID-19 and the positivity rate is 10.1%.
