With a total of 734 new cases of COVID-19 , Panama raised its number of infections to 344,477, according to the epidemiological report of the Ministry of Health, 6 March.
In addition, 3 new deaths were reported, totaling 5,910 deaths due to this virus in the country.
The case fatality rate remains at 1.7%.
9,594 new tests were carried out to detect
coronavirus, for a percentage of positivity of 7.6%.
There are a total of 331,233 recovered patients and 7,334 active cases.
Of the total active cases, 6,487 people are in isolation, of which 6,230 are at home and 257 in hotels; while 847 patients are hospitalized, of them 717 in ward and 130 in intensive care.
