The number of accumulated cases of COVID-19 in Panama rose to 342,741 for this Wednesday, March 3, after registering 722 new infections.
In addition, the number of deaths due to the
coronavirus increased to 5,884, of which 10 correspond to new deaths and also 3 deaths from previous dates are updated.
The case fatality rate in the country remains at 1.7%.
The Ministry of Health (
Minsa) reported that for today some 328,945 recovered patients are registered.
The report adds that this Wednesday there are 1,009 hospitalized patients in the ward, while 1,009 are kept in intensive care units.
On the other hand, there are a total of 7,912 cases that remain active, of which 6,427 are in home isolation and 313 are in hospital hotels.

COVID-19 have been carried out in the last 24 hours, and the country maintains a positivity of 7.1%.
