In Panama there are 9,414 cases of COVID that remain active, and 371,984 people have recovered.
The Ministry of Health (
Minsa) reported that for this Sunday, June 13, in Panama a total of 371,984 accumulated cases of
COVID-19 are counted, of which 715 are new infections.
It also details that the number of confirmed deaths due to the new
coronavirus rose to 6,444, with a total of 5 new deaths registered in the last 24 hours, with which the fatality rate in the country stands at 1.7%.
He adds that for today 371,984 people who have recovered are reported.
To date, there are 9,414 cases of
COVID-19 that remain active, of which 8,536 remain in home isolation at home and 399 are in hospital hotels.
On the other hand, a total of 416 patients are hospitalized in the ward and 63 are kept in intensive care units.
The
Minsa adds that in the last hours 8,802 new tests have been carried out to detect
COVID-19 and the positivity rate is 8.1% in the country.
