The Ministry of Health of Panama (Minsa) reported 682 new cases of COVID-19 and 17 deaths in the last 24 hours.
With these figures, the country reached 95,596 accumulated cases and 2,063 deaths from this virus, for a case fatality rate of 2.2%.
In the last hours, 5,100 new tests were carried out to detect
COVID-19 for a 13.4% positivity.
According to the epidemiological report of the
Minsa of this Friday, September 4, there are a total of 24,791 active cases and a total of 68,742 recovered patients.
Of the active patients, there are a total of 23,535 in isolation, of which 23,090 are at home and 445 in hotels, while 1,256 are hospitalized, of them 1,092 in ward and 164 in intensive care.
